NOTE Some Pico 2 products will be made with RP2350A A3 stepping during the transition to full production using A4. Change Description Please refer to the latest RP2350 datasheet and the RP2350 A4 stepping PCN (PCN 28) for details of the changes made in the A4 stepping of the RP2350. Mechanical (Form, Fit, Function) Changes None Electrical Errata 9 has been fixed, so any external circuitry used to work around this issue may need to be reviewed. Software/Firmware Changes Required This new product revision is supported in Pico SDK version 2.1. Raspberry Pi Ltd always recommend using the latest version of the SDK, wherever that is practical. Product Change Notification 2 PCN 32 – Products moving to RP2350 A4 silicon stepping Transition Date(s) July 2025 There will be a transition period where both old and new units are available in the distribution channel. Identification Method to Distinguish Change The new product can be distinguished by examination of the RP235x chip. The part number printed on the top of the device will have the suffix A4 , as shown in the image below.
